Chain Set

I wanted to challenge myself with this set, so I decided to experiment with a form of chain mail. I created three sheets of mail, two squares for the earrings and a long rectangle for the bracelet. I wanted to create a clasp for the bracelet that complimented my signature shepherd’s hook on the earrings. Nothing I was finding in my research looked the way I envisioned so I decided to create my own type of clasp that used wire wrapping and a tension setting to keep it in place. It was fairly successful, but if I were to use this design again in the future, I would tweak it slightly to make it even more secure.
