Scanograms

This project was an experimentation of using a scanner bed to capture camera-less images. To begin this project, I captured a variety of objects and textures I found with various lighting on the scanner bed. I edited and combined the objects in Adobe Photoshop until a narrative started to take form. At this point I began scanning my own hands to complete the narrative images. The titles of the pieces below are as follows: “Ad Astra”, “Creation”, “Crushed”, “Held”, and “Lost”.
