Ceramics

This course focused on learning the basics of throwing clay vessels on a wheel. I began by learning each step of the throwing process one by one before moving on to trimming and glazing techniques. I experimented with forms and colors as well as many different styles of handles. Over the course of the semester, I created a little over 100 pieces, many of which sold at the Columbia College Student Pottery Sale in 2021.
