Additive Casting

The goal of this project was to make and cast a jewelry project using the additive process. To begin this process, I created wax spheres and used melted wax to create a coating of drips around the sphere. I then used the lost wax casting process to cast the wax spheres in sterling silver. Once the piece was cast, I attached jump rings and created earring hooks. These pieces were displayed in the Columbia College 2022 Student Art Exhibition.
